Resumo

Cat Scratch Disease, is caused by the gram-negative bacterium Bartonella hensalae. It is transmitted through scratches or bites from infected cats. A distinctive manifestation is neurorretinitis, characterized by optic disc swelling and hardened exudates in the macular region.
